Making Up For Lost Time...

I recently noticed that my last blog was dated in January. I've been totally remiss in keeping up with blogs on my website, and for that I apologize. I do write a weekly blog on my publisher's WordPress site. It's still no excuse for not keeping up with my own, though.

After many, many months of revisions and edits, Eternal Embrace, book two of my Kindred series, is finally done, formatted, and waiting to be released this coming Tuesday, April 11. It feels like forever, though it's only been a year since my first novel, Phoenix Rising was released.

I have learned so much, and come so far, since my journey began. And I know I still have more to learn. Hopefully, I'm just getting started. I've found my newest passion, and I'm embracing it.

As far as 2017 goes, I don't have any events planned. Disappointing on one hand, but sometimes you have to go with priorities. I have several stories I want to finish, and hopefully publish this year. Finances are directed towards editing, covers, and publishing.

I do have two events slated for 2018. I'm looking forward to those, and meeting author friends, and new readers. If you are in the Houston area, look for me at Books are Bigger in Texas on March 10, 2018. I'll be in Phoenix, Arizona at the For the Love of Books & Phoenix Author Event on October 20, 2018.

For now, I'm getting ready for my book release party on April 11. Kelli Smith, of Totally Talented Promotions and I are hosting this Facebook event at 7pm CST/8pm EST. There will be games and prizes, and loads of fun! Kelli talked me into doing a LIVE interview, so there will be a lot of laughs, too. Hope to see you there. https://www.facebook.com/events/442477219430706/

In the meantime, and around all of the release happenings, I'm busy working on book three of the Kindred series, A Destiny Denied. It's coming along rather nicely, if I do say so myself. I'm hoping you'll like it. This one was supposed to be a novella, but my warriors have a way of taking over, demanding their stories be told. The way it's looking at the moment, it will be every bit as long as the previous two.

I think that catches everyone up to speed on the life that is Madison Granger. I promise to try and do better at posting blogs on a more regular basis. Like everything else, I need to get in the habit of doing it. I've started a newsletter that I put out on the first of the month. Be sure and sign up to find out what's going on in my world. You can do that on the front page of my website, http://www.madisongranger.com/
