Wait! What??

Yesterday, I was finally able to sit down and work on my fourth installment of The Kindred series. Going in, I figured I had two more chapters, an epilogue and I would be done with Blindsided. Yeah, well, that didn’t quite work out like I planned. It seems the characters had a little surprise waiting for me and I found myself adding more chapters and scrambling for tissues. I’m not going to give anything away, but this one is going to grab you by the seat of your pants, so be prepared for the ride!

All in all, it felt good to be able to sit down and write. It feels like forever since I was able to do only the one thing. The past year has been full of edits, revisions, and a hundred other things revolving around the world of writing.

I’m getting bits and pieces from the twins, Logan and Lucas, about their book, Deuces Wild. Unfortunately, they won’t give me much more than a glimpse here and there. I think they’re waiting until they have my full attention and then, hopefully, give me the full story. Next year should be interesting. Since that book will complete the series, I have a feeling it will take me longer to get everything wrapped up. I look forward to it and regret it at the same time. My warriors have taken me on a grand journey. I’ll be sorry to see it end.

But then again, who knows what will happen? There are a lot of new warriors. In the meantime I hope you have a joyous Christmas . . . filled with family, friends, love, and laughter.
