Too Busy to get into Trouble
Things have been more hectic than usual lately, both at work and at home. I’m keeping up, barely. I did manage to finish my first professional editing job. The next one is sitting on my desk, so my new ‘second job’ is starting out well.
I woke up a couple of days ago with the opening of my next book shouting at me. I can now say that Deuces Wild, the last book of The Kindred series is officially under way. It’s really a relief to be able to say that. For the longest time, the main characters have kept silent. I had no idea which way the story was going to go. Now, I’ve got a general outline and the first page is started. Hopefully, this one will be like the others and write itself. Is that asking too much? We’ll see how what happens.
On another note, I want to thank all my new readers. Since the newspaper article came out a few weeks ago, sales have picked up. I'm extremely grateful and appreciate the support. It's also so very nice to hear from you. I want to share an email I got from a very special lady.
