In the background, but still around . . .
The past few months I've been practically off the social media grid. I've still checked in, posting occasionally, but I haven't really participated, interacted, or promoted. My days off from the full time job have been devoted to writing Deuces Wild, book five of The Kindred series. I'm happy to say that I'm almost done. A few more chapters and I'll be able to set that one down so I can start on another couple of projects that have been patiently waiting their turn. I also have the cover for Deuces but that will have to wait a few more months before the big reveal.
This coming Saturday, Sept 14 from 9 am to 5 pm I'll be at the Craftin Cajuns Craft and Trade Show. I had a lot of fun earlier this year and decided to do it again. The great thing is that it's only two minutes from my house. No travel expenses or plans necessary. Just load and go! If you're in Houma or even nearby, stop in at the Civic Center. The whole building is devoted to the trade show, hosting hundreds of vendors. It was a whirlwind of activity this past March and I'm pretty sure it will be again.
I finally got around to updating my book covers. The covers are the same, just minus the logo of the publishing house I once ran under. I've also listed all my books with Kindle Unlimited. So, if you're a member, you can read them for free.
That's it for now. Take care and enjoy a good book.
Until next time,
~Madison
